Emporiuo Hair studio has been featured on channel 9 extra program in the making of the Be Cool products story.

Cool Ernie grew up in freezing England before migrating down under 27 years ago where he could not find products for his hair type.

"It was falling out, I arrested it but it was falling out. Us fellas don't like that."

Being cool means being inventive - using old family recipes.

"They always use a lot of coconut oil you see and I said I'll go back to that. Mum is always right."

Natural ingredients like coconut, cocoa butter found growing demand among friends.

Ernie recognised opportunity - hair dresser Rita stocks the products including an application for straightening hair.

"It's a product that doesn't burn on your scalp, just straightens your hair nice and beautiful."

Ernie is adding to his product range - 33 and growing - too many for the confines of the kitchen now. It's big batches at a commercial processing operation turning out hair and skin moisturisers for all types all with a cool winning formula.
